NETHERLANDS
It
was something akin to a first sighting during a whale watch. A yelp!
Some “oohs” and “aahs”!
A clamoring and bustling to get a better view, a better camera shot.
Off to the left, bleeding solid red to the horizon. I found
myself joining the slack jaws, because no one is prepared for the sight
of ten thousand tulips of
a solid color, sometimes red, or yellow, or white, changing the flat canvas
of the field into a three-dimensional portrait. . . .CONTINUE
